If you enjoy music from years gone by, make sure that the 60s music festival weekend at the Richmond, northern soul at the Suncastle or one of the many other "theme" weekends in Skegness.
Skegness also has a great variety of leisure and sports activities ranging from crown bowls to tenpin bowling as well as indoor and outdoor swimming in the newly refurbished Compass Gardens Complex. Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside
For the outdoor types, take a trip to Gibraltar Point, a National Nature Reserve, only a few miles from the resort, and spend a few hours watching nature at its very best!
You don't have to go very far to find lots of animal friends, marine creatures, penguins and cheeky seals that just love to come and greet you at the animal sanctuary.
Further afield, fantastic walking and cycling countryside is on offer including the wonderful scenic views of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Take a day visit to some of the charming market towns such as Louth, Spilsby, Horncastle or Alford, famed for its antiques, or visit the cathedral city of Lincoln with its magnificent sites of heritage.
As the sun goes down, enjoy a night out at one of the many pubs or clubs, and perhaps even see one of the star named shows at the Embassy Theatre.
There is something for everyone to enjoy in this part of Lincolnshire and that's why millions of visitors return time and time again.
